Eurosport France wins rights to televise Italy’s Coppa Italia football competition in France.

The Discovery-owned pay-TV broadcaster will show action from the knockout competition for at least the remainder of the current season, after making a deal with the B4Capital agency. 

Eurosport France aired the Coppa Italia until 2010, before the competition moved to Orange Sport and then BeIN Sports. This season’s Coppa Italia is currently in the quarter final stage, with the next round of matches set to be played between 13 and 20 January 2016.

Coppa Italia 2015/2016

The 2015/16 Coppa Italia, also known as TIM Cup for sponsorship reasons is the 68th edition of the national cup in Italian football, it began on 2 August 2015. The champion will guarantee a place in the UEFA Europa League. Juventus are the defending champions.
