Football satellite TV schedule
After mega deal with S.L. Benfica, Portuguese media corporation NOS Audiovisuais have also signed a huge broadcast and sponsorship deal with Sporting Club de Portugal.
Under the deal, NOS will become the main sponsor of Sporting CP for the next 12 and a half sport seasons, beginning from Jan. 1. 2016, and the official broadcaster of the club’s home games starting from 1st July 2018, for ten years, until the end of the 2027/28 soccer season.
NOS will also take over the distribution rights for Sporting TV, the club’s official channel, from 1st July 2017, when the current contract expires and the usage of commercial space of Jose Alvalade Stadium for ten sport seasons starting from July 1, 2018.
Official financial details were not released, but according to abola.pt the deal is estimated to be worth around 515 million €. Sporting CP are currently on the top the Primeira Liga after beating second-placed Porto(2:0) in the last round of fixtures.
Sporting TV is the TV channel of Sporting Clube de Portugal. The channel broadcasts of the Sporting B games at home.
Sporting TV transmits 24 hours a day, of which six hours a day a new content (eight hours of the new content to the end-of-week and on game days), with program in various modalities and training levels as well as interviews of the main protagonists and lines on various issues of Past and present club.
