Motorsport live on satellite TV Catalan public service broadcaster, TV 3, has struck a sublicesing deal for Formula One championship with Spanish Telefonica. Formula 1 (F1) – Free Satellite TV Channels TV3 will show coverage of the popular motorsport world championship after an agreement with Spanish pay-TV broadcaster Movistar +, who holds the rights to competition. TV3 will show entirely the Spanish Grand Prix, held in Barcelona in May. The Package also include a 60 minute highlights to each of the 20 races. Nico Rosberg, the German driver, won the last Historic Circuit de Barcelona Grand Prix last season.

German public-service broadcaster ARD has agreed a three-season extension to its rights deal for German club football’s knockout competition, better known as DFB-Pokal. The agreement with the German Football Association (DFB) covers the 2016-17 to 2018-19 seasons and follows a tender process that opened in August. Under the new contract, ARD will broadcast nine DFB-Pokal games per season live, including the final in Berlin. In addition, it will continue to provide all match highlights and cover the women’s final live. According to ilmessaggero.it, Italian state broadcaster Rai, which is available as free-to-air TV, has agreed with Sky Italia a share of TV and media rights to the UEFA Euro 2016.
