Astra 28.2°E - Pay-TV battle in United Kingdom

BT Sport raised the stakes in it's battle with Sky Sports in UK by paying a record 897 million pounds for UEFA Champions League rights. Keeping promise to "make televised sport more accessible to more people", BT will show a minimum of 12 UEFA Champions League and 14 UEFA Europa League matches free to watch, whether you are a subscriber on not.

Astra 28.2°E - BT Sport Football Plans for Season 2015/2016

BT Sport has revealed that all 351 matches from both competitions throughout the 2015/16 season will be FREE for customers who take its BT TV service, while those who take BT Broadband could see them for 5 pounds per month. 

Premier League, Premiership rugby and the Scottish Premier League will remain free-to-air.
