Livestream – Australian NBL launches new streaming platform

The Australian National Basketball League will show every game of season 2016/17 live on it’s new NBL TV, after securing full ownership of its digital rights in Australia. 

With a subscription, basketball fans will be able to view games directly on their mobile, tablet, desktop or TV. Along with every 2016/17 season game live, fans can also enjoy hundreds of classic NBL games on demand via the NBL TV platform.

NBL Executive Director Larry Kestelman has a vision to see the National Basketball League become one of Australia’s leading sports products. “Our focus is on ensuring as many Australian basketball fans can watch NBL as possible. Whether that is attending a game or watching via a TV, computer or mobile we want to ensure they also enjoy it at the highest possible quality.”

“We have partnered with the best provider in Australia, for our live streaming offering and we have increased our broadcast production capabilities to ensure the product is a premium viewing experience,’” Mr Kestelman said in his interview for NBL.com.au.

For the retail price of $5 per month, subscribers will also be able to view hundreds of NBL Classic games. 

Further special offers will be released in the coming weeks. Seasonticket holders, will have a full access to NBL.TV for free, and will be able to follow their favorite teamon their away matches.
