2. Data processed when you visit this website

Each time you open a page, your browser automatically sends information that our web server records in log files:

• your IP address
• the date and time of the request
• the page or file requested
• the page you came from, if any (referrer)
• your browser type and version, and your operating system
• the amount of data transferred and the HTTP status of the response

We use these logs to operate the site reliably, to investigate faults, and to detect and block automated abuse such as scraping and attacks on the login areas. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log data is not combined with other data sources and is not used to identify individual visitors.

We also operate a hidden link that ordinary visitors never see and that well-behaved search engines are instructed to ignore. Automated programs that follow it anyway have their IP address recorded so that further requests from that address can be blocked. The legal basis is again Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our interest in protecting the site from abusive automated traffic.

Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and § 25 (2) TDDDG. All other cookies are only stored with your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG.

4. Your consent, and how to change it

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Until you accept, analytics cookies are not stored and no identifier is assigned to you. Your choice is recorded in the cookie described above.

You can change your mind at any time with effect for the future:

• delete the cookies for this site in your browser settings, which brings the banner back so you can choose again;
• use the Google Analytics opt-out described in section 6;
• configure your browser to refuse cookies generally – note that parts of this site may then not work as intended.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew it.

5. Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

Google Tag Manager is an administrative tool that lets us manage the other services described here through a single interface. It does not itself set cookies, does not collect personal data for its own purposes and does not create user profiles. However, it is loaded in your browser, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google as a technical necessity in order to deliver it.

Google Tag Manager passes your consent choices on to the services it controls, so that those services adjust their data collection accordingly.

6. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Its parent company, Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, may act as a recipient of data.

We use Analytics to understand which pages and sporting events are of interest to our visitors, so that we can improve the schedule and the site. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG.

If you consent, the cookies listed in section 3 are stored, and information about your use of the site – pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived here – is transmitted to Google and associated with a randomly generated identifier.

If you do not consent, no Analytics cookies are stored and no identifier is assigned to you. In that case Google receives only aggregated information that cannot be linked to you personally, which we use for statistical estimates of overall traffic.

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Your IP address is used only briefly, to derive an approximate location, and is then discarded; it is not available to us and is not stored in our Analytics property. Data from visitors in the European Economic Area is collected on Google servers within the EEA before any further processing.

We do not use Google Signals. Your data is therefore not combined across devices and is not used for advertising or remarketing purposes.

Data collected in our Analytics property is automatically deleted by Google after 14 months.

In addition to declining cookies, you can prevent measurement in two ways:

• Set an opt-out cookie for this site: Disable Google Analytics. This opt-out is stored as a cookie in the browser and on the device you are currently using. It therefore has to be set again in other browsers or on other devices, and it is removed if you delete your cookies. Setting this opt-out also deletes the Google Analytics cookies already stored on your device.

7. Contact form and e-mail

If you write to us through the contact form or by e-mail, we process the details you provide – typically your name, e-mail address and your message – solely in order to answer your enquiry. We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet any statutory retention obligations, after which it is deleted.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or its preparation, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

8. Transfers outside the EU and EEA

The services named above are provided to us by Google Ireland Limited within the European Union, but data may be transferred to and processed by Google LLC in the United States. For such transfers Google LLC relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on 10 July 2023, and additionally on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

Despite these safeguards, we cannot rule out that authorities in third countries may access such data.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
• have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR);
• have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR);
• have processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR);
• receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR);
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR);
• withdraw consent you have given, at any time and with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state where you live or work.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this policy when the services described here change. This version is dated 10 September 2026.
